From Sikandar to Baaghi 4: Anticipated Blockbusters Set to Release in 2025

Mumbai: 2024 came with a lot of new goodies for the cinema lovers with some cinematic treasures like Kill, Stree 2, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, and Laapata Ladies.

Now, as we enter into another year, the B-town is ready to witness some more promising releases in 2025. Let us see some of the most awaited films this New Year:

Sikandar
Salman Khan followers never let their favorite hero stop from making any appearances on big screens. Just this year the actor had all intentions to move away from movie screens but not before making news about his impending action-entertainer called Sikandar.

Adding to the buzz, Salman recently unveiled the teaser of AR Murugadoss' direction. Produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film also features Rashmika Mandanna, Suniel Shetty, and Sharman Joshi in key roles.

Alpha
The Yash Raj Spy Universe has been keeping the fans on the hook with its back-to-back entertainers. Now this spy universe is about to expand its horizon as it is all set to add its first-ever female-centric drama starring Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor.

Going by the reports, Alpha is going to revolve around two agents on their respective missions. The drama will have some nerve-chilling action sequences. Prior to this, the fans have been treated with installments including Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3.

Chhaava
Vicky Kaushal has been trying his hands in vivid genes and garnering a lot of praise for every role. From Sam Bahadur to Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, Vicky has been winning hearts all across. Next up, the actor will be seen performing an action-packed role in Chhaava.
Official adaptation of the Marathi novel of the same name by Shivaji Sawant, the drama is likely to reach the theatres by February 2025. He will be seen essaying the role of the Maratha King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Aside from Vicky Kaushal, Chhaava will also see Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in crucial roles.

Jolly LLB 3
We are well aware of the courtroom drama Jolly LLB and Jolly LLB 2 starring Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar respectively. Considering that both of these installments were highly favored by the audiences, the producers are now busy working on the sequel, Jolly LLB 3.

The third part of the series is likely to have both the Jollys- Akshay and Arshad, face to face in court. The movie is directed by Subhash Kapoor and will star Huma Qureshi, and Amrita Rao. Produced jointly by Star Studios, Kangra Talkies, and Cape of Good Films, Jolly LLB 3 will hit the theatres in April 2025.

Baaghi 4
Tiger Shroff is known for his jaw-dropping action in the popular Baaghi series. The actor will once again be seen as Ronny in Baaghi 4. The much-awaited drama will be helmed by A Harsha and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Bajwa, and Harnaaz Sandhu will also play crucial roles in Baaghi 4 alongside Tiger Shroff. The former Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu will also make her Bollywood debut with the film scheduled to be released by September 2025.

War 2
Treat awaits Roshan fans since they will find their favorite Hrithik in the war 2 version of the action drama. Mukerji directs the movie. Jr NTR and Anil Kapoor will make appearances in a significant role, and Hrithik, in the reprise of the role of Major Kabir Dhaliwal as he deals with a new threat to the nation's safety.

Thama
Bollywood heartthrob Ayushmann Khurrana will share screen space with Rashmika Mandanna for the first time in 2025. The project, touted to be a horror comedy, will be made under the direction of Aditya Sarpotdar.

Audiences will witness Thama in the theaters during Diwali 2025. Based on the updates, Thama will be focusing on the Vampires' theme. In the recent times, the horror comedy genre had been receiving heavy appreciation after a series of blockbuster movies like Stree and Stree 2.
