Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who recently made a trip to India accompanied by her husband Nick Jonas, delighted her fans on Saturday by sharing a nostalgic journey through time with then-and-now pictures.
Taking to her Instagram, she posted a collage featuring two images. The first snapshot captures her radiant after winning the prestigious Miss World title, while the second showcases her present-day self. In a playful tone, the actress couldn't resist poking fun at her fashion choices from the 2000s, admitting that back then, she was simply trying to blend in.
In the caption, she humorously reflected, “How it started.. how it’s going. PS: those 2000s brows though. My 17-year-old self was just trying to pretend like I belonged. In that moment I was desperately trying to keep it together (sic).”
Recalling her Miss World moment, she shared, “With the weight of the heavy sari and the newly acquired crown flimsily pinned into my hair with 2 bobby pins, my confidence was slowly slipping as well. But I held it together, just like my sari, with a few safety pins.”
Amidst the nostalgia, the actress also extended warm wishes to her followers on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi, spreading joy and positivity.
