One of the most prestigious acting awards is back with its latest edition. Conducted on the evening of Sunday, September 19 (September 20 early morning in India) in Los Angeles’ Event Deck at L.A. Live, the Primetime Emmy Awards unlike the last year ditched the virtual ceremony and went back to the traditional in-person event. Undoubtedly, it was a big night for England-set shows and British-based actors. While The Crown which went in with 11 nominations, proved to be the big runner with 7 wins, The Jason Sudeikis comedy “Ted Lasso” had a winning first season and nabbed the award for Best Comedy at the 2021 Emmy Awards Sunday night.
