Bollywood star couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have finally confirmed that they are blessed with a baby girl.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday afternoon, the post shared by the stars read: "Welcome baby girl 8.9.2024… Deepika and Ranveer."
It was on Sunday that news about the two welcoming their first bundle of joy surfaced.
Photos and videos of Deepika visiting the H. N. Reliance Hospital in Girgaon area of Mumbai started doing the rounds on September 7, which stirred speculations about her delivering their first baby.
The couple along with their families on September 6 visited the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai.
It was this February 2024 when Deepika and Ranveer, as they are fondly known to their fans as DeepVeer, announced that they were going to be parents. According to reports this February, the actress was said to be in her second trimester.
They took to Instagram and posted: "September 2024" with cute baby clothes, baby shoes and balloon motifs.
Ranveer and Deepika married in November 2018 in a private, intimate Lake Como wedding, sharing snippets with fans on Instagram, but it wasn't until five years later, on Koffee With Karan, that fans finally saw the stunning wedding video of the star couple.
Meanwhile, on the work front, husband-wife will be seen in forthcoming Rohit Shetty directorial 'Singham Again'. While Deepika is a new entrant into Shetty's cop universe, Ranveer will be seen in a cameo avatar as Simmba.
