On Tuesday, the Makers of Ananya Panday-starrer 'Call Me Bae,' her maiden series, released its first song 'Vekh Sohneyaa.' The song captures the journey of the leading lady in love and to find herself in the city of Mumbai.
'Vekh Sohneyaa,' written by Charan, sung by Bombay the Artist, and produced by Dishant, spells 'Call Me Bae,' as it strikes a perfect balance between self-love and romance.
This track sets up the canvas for Bae's colorful, detailed journey ahead. The video is complemented with elaborative visuals displaying Bae starting her life in Mumbai. Amidst everything, she ends up finding some good friendships and a new romance blossoming inside the city.
Ananya shared her excitement on the track, saying: "Love and enthusiasm for the trailer has been overwhelming and I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to my character Bella and the series."
She furthered, "Since the time I first heard 'Vekh Sohneyaa, it has been on repeat. It has surely captured my heart and been on repeat in my playlist. Big ups to the music team for such a vibe that's got everyone, including me, grooving."
Clearly, the video shows Ananya playing the role of a young woman caught between struggles of identity and romance, and that makes it a perfect teaser for the series.

The track pulls you in into the world of 'Call Me Bae' from the first note and is about the vibrant vibes of BomBae and Bella's journey-that is fast-paced yet soulful.
