Netflix's Cobra Kai is coming to an end. The final part of the sixth season is going to be its last, and the last five episodes are scheduled to premiere next February.
The streaming giant also announced the premiere date for the final five episodes while revealing a teaser trailer that hints at how the series will end.
Fans can view the teaser of the trailer as "four decades of history all leading to this moment" by relating it to "Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai must reckon with their pasts while facing an uncertain future both on and off the mat."
The series finale builds from four decades of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament starting from the original The Karate Kid starring Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso. LaRusso's rival Johnny Lawrence, played by William Zabka, provides the primary storyline for Cobra Kai.
The series is told from Johnny's perspective as it delves into his relationship with Daniel, years after the events of The Karate Kid. Both run rival dojos later in life and their rivalry intensifies over the seasons.
The cast includes Martin Kove, Thomas Ian Griffith, Xolo Maridueña, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mouser and Tanner Buchana.
Others completing the cast are Peyton List, Gianni Decenzo, Courtney Henggeler, Vanessa Rubio, Dallas Dupree Young, Yuji Okumoto, Alicia Hannah-Kim, Griffin Santopietro, Oona O'Brien, Rayna Vallandingham, Patrick Luwis and Lewis Tan.
The first half of season six dropped in July 2024 and the second half hit Netflix in November with five new episodes. Season six's third and final part, or the season finale, hits on February 13, 2025. A new Karate Kid film, starring Macchio and Jackie Chan, hits theaters on May 30, 2025.
