Charlie Sheen encountered a distressing incident at his Malibu home recently when a neighbor reportedly initiated an attack on him, leading to the neighbor's subsequent arrest.
Law enforcement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to a call regarding a disturbance at Sheen's residence, confirming the altercation. The spokesperson for the department specified that upon their arrival, Charlie Sheen was identified as the victim of the assault. The alleged assailant faced charges of assault with a deadly weapon and residential burglary.
Reports from TMZ outlined the sequence of events, suggesting that the 47-year-old woman attempted to force entry into Sheen's home by knocking on his door. Upon his response, she purportedly barged in, causing damage to his shirt and reportedly attempting to strangle him. Subsequently, the woman retreated to her own residence, where law enforcement apprehended her.
Fortunately, Sheen did not require medical attention despite the alarming situation, as paramedics assessed the scene without transporting him to the hospital.
The motive behind the attack remains unclear. Sheen mentioned to authorities his prior issues with the woman, recalling an incident where she allegedly sprayed a sticky substance on his vehicle. He had attempted to resolve matters by conversing with her after the car incident. However, tensions persisted, evidenced by the woman allegedly dumping trash at his doorstep a day before the confrontation.
