The charge sheet filed by police investigating the case says Kannada superstar Darshan kicked abducted fan Renukaswamy in the genitals after getting his trousers removed, on the stomach, and head, placing his leg on his chest and pressing hard.
Darshan, his partner Pavithra Gowda, and 15 others are currently in judicial custody in the fan murder case.
Drawer 174 and 175 state that Darshan kicked Renukaswamy in his private parts with full force.
"After verification of Renukaswamy mobile phone, obscene photos were displayed. Enraged over it, Darshan stamped his legs on him. Darshan kicked Renukaswamy in the stomach, abusing him as a pervert. Later, he fell on the ground, and Darshan kept one leg on Renukaswamy's chest and pushed hard," the charge sheet said.
"Accused No. 2, Darshan, kicked him hard with his shoe. Darshan forcibly kicked the left side of the head of Renukaswamy with his shoe. Due to the assault, serious injuries were caused to the left ear of the victim. Darshan then asked Pavan to remove the pant of Renukaswamy and thereafter he forcibly kicked his private parts with his shoe," it added.
The charge sheet further said that along with Darshan, the other accused also brutally assaulted Renukaswamy.
It said, "Renukaswamy died due to the fatal assault by the accused."
After the assault by Darshan and his gang, the chest bones of Renukaswamy were broken. There were 39 injury marks all over his body, including a deep cut on the victim's head, the chargesheet said.
It added that reportedly the gang used a megger machine, an electrical device used to measure insulation resistance, to deliver electric shocks to Renukaswamy's private parts.
"Darshan and his gang used the megger device to damage Renukaswamy's testicle," the charge sheet said.
Another source said that Renukaswamy was 'unheard of' and 'inhuman' tortured before being hacked to death.
"After committing the murder, Darshan and other accused used their influence and money to dispose of the body and tried destroying evidence. They even tried framing other people just to get themselves acquitted of the charges," the charge sheet said.
Some pictures apparently of Renukaswamy, when he was brutally tortured, surfaced on September 5, a day after the Karnataka Police submitted the 3,991-page charge sheet to the 24th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's .
In one of the photos, Renukaswamy in his torn shirt, half-naked, is seen sitting on the ground in front of parked trucks, crying loudly. He looked horrified and was apparently trying to say something, wrinkling in pain.
Another picture shows Renukaswamy lying unconscious in front of a truck with the registration number KA 51 AF 0454. This time, Renukaswamy is seen wearing a vest and blue jeans.
However, the police have not issued any official statement regarding the leaked photos which were collected as evidence by the police, sources said.
The ghastly murder of Renukaswamy, the fan of Darshan, was committed on June 8 in Bengaluru. The accused had kidnapped Renukaswamy from his hometown Chitradurga, brought him to Bengaluru, kept him in a shed and tortured him to death.
After the murder, the body was thrown into a canal. The incident saw daylight when the security personnel of a private apartment building spotted the body being dragged by a pack of dogs.
