It looks like Hollywood legends Brad Pitt and George Clooney have finally buried the hatchet over their decades-long feud from the 1980s.
Back in the day, the two had the signature mullet hairstyle, which set them up in sort of a "conflict" with each other. In a recent conversation, both actors expressed interest in talking again about who had the better mullet.
Speaking to GQ, Pitt talked about their rivalry years back and said, "I would say one of the greatest that ever existed…"
Clooney immediately cut in, "Was my mullet or your mullet?"
Sure of himself, Pitt replied, "I'm going to say mine."
Clooney seemed to agree and even suggested that while he "might say" his mullet was, both their haircuts were "really good shared experience". – mirror.co.uk.
It was the first time the two had worked together since the 2001 film "Ocean's Eleven," which was the basis for the sequels "Ocean's Twelve" in 2004 and "Ocean's Thirteen" in 2007. Pitt also appeared in Clooney's 2002 movie "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind," and the two were both featured in Tom Daley's husband Dustin Lance Black's play *8* in 2012.
Clooney's mullet confession comes just days after his jaw-dropping takedown of helmer David O. Russell as "miserable." In the same interview with Pitt, Clooney said he would never work with Russell again, blaming him for making his and the crew's life "hell" and wondering if the end product, no matter how "good," was worth putting up with that kind of treatment.
"The older you get, time allotment is very different," Clooney explained. "Five months out of your life is a lot."
He added, "And so it's not just like, 'Oh, I'm going to go do a really good film, like *Three Kings*, and I'm going to have a miserable… like David O. Russell making my life hell. Making every person in the crew's life hell. It's not worth it. Not at this point in my life. Just to have a good product.
Clooney famously clashed with Russell while making *Three Kings*, released in October 1999.He would later refer to the experience as "the worst experience of (his) life."
