Actor Abhishek Bachchan will finally join dad, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, on the sets of the popular quiz-based reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati. "Being split again". Father and son to share lighter moments with fans.
A promo shared by the channel on Instagram gives a peep into their playful banter, with Abhishek recounting a fun family dinner conversation. He hilariously explains, "In our house, the whole family sits together to eat, and if anybody asks a question, all the kids shout together, '7 crore'".
This brings Bachchan to guffaws, after which he quips, "It was a big mistake to bring him here." The star son Abhishek mimics his reactions while he belts out "7 crore," which also gets filmmaker Shoojit Sircar chuckling.
The couple performs promotional show for their upcoming film I Want To Talk, a touching simple movie that explores the depth of the father-daughter relationship. In the movie, Abhishek plays Arjun, an individual suffering from a critical illness that ruins his life. Johnny Lever, Jayant Kriplani, and Ahilya Bamroo feature in the movie.
While playing the role in *I Want To Talk*, there was no prosthetics; he put on weight for the part. Indicating a poster featuring himself with a considerable belly, Abhishek quipped that, "I don't look this way anymore, but it has been a life-altering experience. I hope we have managed to create some impact during the few hours you spend watching this film.".
He also humorously added, "Don't ever put on weight for a film again. Trust me, at my age, it gets very hard to lose it after a while."
