The big and most speculated love story of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasma is about to be told. The most loved daily soap of the Indian TV industry has been in existence for a long time now, but the personal lives of the show’s actors have always been undercover. But now it is learned that actors Munmun Dutta, who plays Babita Ji in the long-running comedy show, and Raj Anadkat, who plays Tapu, are in love and are dating in real life.
Earlier, the social media PDA of the duo started speculations about a blossoming romantic relationship but without any confirmation, the rumors eventually died. Now a report by E Times confirms that despite a huge age difference of nine years, Munmun and Raj are in love with each other.
“Nobody teases them. They don’t try to steal moments with each other. The love story is actually old and one wonders how it hasn’t come out till date,"
ETimes quoted an unrevealed source as saying.
It has also been revealed that Munmun and Raj’s respective families also know about their love.
The reports of the duo dating have been taking over the internet and social media is already flooded with memes based on their relationship. The two haven't made their relationship official yet but their fans are eagerly waiting for the good news. While Raj is 24 years old, Munmun is 9 years older than him. Munmun Dutta aka Babita Ji Has been a part of the show since the starting but Raj entered the show as the replacement of Bhavya Gandhi in 2017.
Meanwhile, Munmun has only recently started shooting for the show after being ‘laid-off’ for controversy over using a casteist slur in a YouTube video.
