Armie Hammer to play a film producer in a series about the making of The Godfather

Call Me by Your Name and Social Network actor Armie Hammer is all set to play film producer Al Ruddy in a limited series about the making of the classic movie The Godfather. Titled ‘The Offer,’ 10-episode drama is being produced by Paramount Television Studios and will stream in 2021. 

Based on Ruddy's experiences making the 1972 film alongside director Francis Ford Coppola, the series will include his previously unrevealed experiences during the making of the movie which is considered one of the greatest films of the 20th century.
