Ariana Grande has been teasing her fans with updates about her highly anticipated seventh studio album, and now, according to reports from 'Variety,' she's set to drop the first single on January 12.
The track, reportedly titled 'Yes, And?', appears to be a playful follow-up to her 2019 hit single and album, 'Thank U, Next.' Although Grande has been featured on several successful singles lately, such as The Weeknd's remixes of 'Save Your Tears' and 'Die for You,' she hasn't released any music under her own name since 'Positions' in October 2020.
Apart from her music, Grande has been busy with Universal's upcoming film adaptation of the Broadway musical 'Wicked,' scheduled for release in November. Behind the scenes, she made headlines for parting ways with her longtime manager Scooter Braun and now being represented by Brandon Creed, known for handling artists like Demi Lovato, Troye Sivan, and Charli XCX.
Grande has been giving glimpses of her work on the new album through Instagram posts, sharing silent clips from the studio and confirming collaborations with long-term partners Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh. Her recent Instagram updates on December 27 hinted at the album's imminent arrival, showcasing different moods she's explored, from dancing joyously to moments of emotional intensity in the studio.
With her upcoming single 'Yes, And?' set to release soon, fans are eagerly anticipating the new musical journey Grande is about to embark on with her seventh album.
