Ariana Grande Soars to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Once Again

Ariana Grande has shot back to the Billboard 200 chart's number one spot as her recently released 'Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead' makes a strong jump, taking back the No. 1 position.

Variety reports that the deluxe re-release of the EP, which includes six new tracks, leaped from No. 71 to the number one spot, driven by 137,000 album-equivalent units, according to Luminate.

The initial 13-track cut of Eternal Sunshine entered at No. 1 in March 2024 with more than 200,000 first-week units and top Billboard Hot 100 singles such as "Yes, And?" and "We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)", both reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

This return to No. 1 is in its 55th week on the Billboard 200 and third straight week atop, courtesy of the wider release. The deluxe version features an extended cut of "Intro (End of the World)" in addition to five new tracks.

While actual Billboard Hot 100 chart figures will be published Monday, singles such as "Twilight Zone" and "Dandelion" are building momentum and can be expected to make major moves based on performance on streaming sources such as Spotify's daily Top Songs chart.

Grande also provided listeners with a variety of purchase options for the deluxe edition, such as digital versions of the 19-track reissue in several formats—one with only the expanded tracklist, another with instrumentals, and one with a cappella versions. Alternate cover art was included with all versions. Physical releases like vinyl and CDs exist as well.

Elsewhere on the Billboard 200, Chicago rapper Lil Durk reached the No. 3 position with his new project 'Deep Thoughts', which opened with 64,000 units in its first week.
