Anthony Mackie seals deal with Disney, will return in Marvel’s Captian America 4 as lead

After garnering applauds and love for his performance in Marvel’s ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldiers, Hollywood actor Anthony Mackie aka the new solider of America has sealed the deal with Disney, which will see Wilson wield Captain America’s shield on the big screen for the first time. In April, Variety reported that a fourth “Captain America” movie was in development, with Spellman handling the script alongside “FAWS” staff writer Dalan Musson.

Anthony Mackie is all set to step in the suit of Captain America in Marvel’s upcoming outing co-written by “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” head writer Malcolm Spellman.

In April, Variety reported that a fourth “Captain America” movie was in development, with Spellman handling the script alongside “FAWS” staff writer Dalan Musson. No director is yet attached.

Other than Mackie, no further cast has been finalized yet but several other actors from “FAWS” speculated to play a key role in the fourth installment of Captain America.

Mackie made his MCU debut with Antman, where he was first seen flying while exchanging hits and fits with the Antman. After that, he was seen playing the comrade of Captian Roger in Captian America: Civil War and since then he has become an important solider of the MCU army, who gave his blood to save the world from mad titan Thanos.

The speculation around Mackie being the new Captain America started after Roger handed over him his shield at the end of Avengers: Endgame. Fans are now eager to see him fly with the shield in his arms but Marvel is yet to make any official statement on this news.
