On Wednesday, superstar Amitabh Bachchan tweeted in support of a social media posting that described how his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, became an unfair victim of "nepotism negativity."
A Bollywood news website posted a clip on microblogging website X in which Abhishek is seen taking pictures from paparazzi during an event promotional function.
The caption on the post stated: "Abhishek Bachchan unnecessarily got roped in the 'nepotism' negativity but the count of good movies in his filmography are very high."
Amitabh Bachchan, 82, shared the video again on his X account and remarked, "I feel the same. and not just because I am his father." The veteran actor often takes to his social media to defend his 49-year-old son, with whom he has worked in many films, such as Bunty Aur Babli, Sarkar, and Paa.
Abhishek Bachchan, who is next to be seen in the Prime Video movie Be Happy, was recently spotted in Shoojit Sircar's I Want To Talk.
