Amitabh Bachchan Calls for Action Against Morphed Video of Rashmika

In response to post on X by a user highlighting the alleged misuse of the video, the ‘Piku’ star said: "Yes this is a strong case." 

Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan has called for legal action following the circulation of a reported morphed video featuring his 'Goodbye' co-star, Rashmika Mandanna. The short objectionable video of the actress had gone viral on social media, prompting Bachchan to take a stand against such content and advocate for legal measures to address the issue.

In response to post on X by a user highlighting the alleged misuse of the video, the ‘Piku’ star said: "Yes this is a strong case."

"There is an urgent need for a legal and regulatory framework to deal with deepfake in India.You might have seen this viral video of actress Rashmika Mandanna on Instagram. But wait, this is a deepfake video of Zara Patel," a user named Abhishek wrote on the microblogging site. 

Amitabh Bachchan not only expressed his concern over the reported morphed video of Rashmika Mandanna but also shared what he believes is the "actual" video.

On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 15' and has projects like 'Kalki 2898 AD,' 'Butterfly,' and 'Thalaivar 170' in his upcoming lineup.

Rashmika Mandanna has several projects in her pipeline, including 'Animal' and 'Pushpa 2: The Rule.' Both actors continue to remain busy with their respective film careers.
