Her 11-year-old son Angelo has asked for a reptilian friend, so once she's finished in Munich, Adele plans to "foster a lizard" to get accustomed to looking after it.

During one of her final 'Adele in Munich' concerts, the singer said to the audience, "I have these shows and then I have my shows in Vegas in October and November."

I have three dogs and a cat, currently," she said. "And my son has begged me for a lizard; I know I am going to be the one caring for it. So, I am going to foster a lizard for a little while, just to get used to it, and I am sure that we are going to be best buds.

She also spoke about wanting to acquire chickens: "I basically want to have a little farm. That's my goal, you know, spending time with people like you-my audience-and animals because I think people suck. People are really getting on my nerves, aren't we all so annoying? I get frustrated at times that I'm not a panda.

She then spoke of her dear Louie, who is now 17 and showing his age, but whom she still adores.

While talking to a newly bereaved fan who had just lost her Shih Tzu, she said, "My little Louie is still with me, and I think he might be the oldest wiener dog ever. He's 17, he's senile, and a bit crazy. I got him when I was 21, and he's been by my side through every studio session when I wrote '21'. In fact, he's even on 'Rolling in the Deep'-grabbily, you can hear him howl when I hit a high note. He used to sit on my lap while I recorded everything."
