The nine-year-old Indian-origin girl, with an enormous talent for singing, has taken the US audiences by storm and has been getting great applause following her recent performance on the popular US talent hunt show, 'America's Got Talent'.
It was the turn of Pranysqa Mishra of Florida to take center stage, after giving her own version of Tina Turner's all-time classic "River Deep, Mountain High" this past week. Her strong performance wowed not only the two judges, Simon Cowell and Heidi Klum, but also earned her the 'Golden Buzzer' from Klum, reports billboard.com.
"I've always loved singing. It makes me happy. Even when I was four, I'd pretend I had a microphone and sing as if the whole world was listening," Mishra related to this report, crediting her grandmother as the source of inspiration and support. This young girl lists among her influences some of the most iconic singers of all time: Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, and Whitney Houston.
Though she was nervy, especially -INFRINGEMENT IN FRONT of notoriously critical Simon Cowell, Mishra's confidence came across with a commanding voice quite contrary to what one would expect of someone her age, according to Billboard. Klum, who pressed the Golden Buzzer, appeared completely flabbergasted and said, "I did not expect that!"
There was everywhere snowing of confetti as celebration, with a too emotional Mishra saying, "My dream is coming true. I can't believe it." When she joined her family on the stage, there were tears of joy, lots of hugging; relays the report.
Klum helped Mishra call her grandmother to deliver the exciting news. "You are absolutely incredible," praised Klum on the young talent, which light-hearted moment was captured like billboard.com.
