Supreme Court Orders NEET-PG 2025 to Be Held in a Single Shift

A bench headed by Justice Vikram Nath directed the authorities to organize the exam to be held in a single session while maintaining utmost transparency during the whole process.

On Friday, the Supreme Court instructed that the next National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Post Graduate (NEET-PG) 2025 scheduled on June 15 be held in one shift rather than the two shifts previously intended.

A bench headed by Justice Vikram Nath directed the authorities to organize the exam to be held in a single session while maintaining utmost transparency during the whole process.

The bench, comprising Justices Sanjay Kumar and N V Anjaria, observed that holding the examination in two shifts results in "arbitrariness."

The court pointed out, "Any two question papers can never be said to be having an identical level of difficulty or ease."
