Patna Police SSP Rajeev Mishra had clarified on Friday evening that there was no action against Khan Sir. Despite that, the post was uploaded. It is a baseless post," said Anu Kumari.

Khan Sir, a well-known educationist, was not arrested or detained by Patna Police when BPSC aspirants protested at the Gardani Bagh Dharna site. Instead, Khan Sir himself went to the Gardani Bagh police station on Friday to meet the duty magistrate.

"He assured the magistrate that he would help explain the situation to the protesting students to maintain peace.".

Following this, he asked for police aid to reach safely to his car parked on Atal Path.

"A police party then accompanied him in the police vehicle to his car," said Anu Kumari.

It is raising alarms over fake news because a viral post on social media had demanded his release due to incorrect information that the Khan Global Study Centre said that he has been detained.

By filing the FIR, the authorities are looking to curb the dissemination of false information and maintain public order.

Investigations will probably focus on holding people accountable for the post because such actions may disrupt the peace during the already volatile period of BPSC protests.
