NEET-PG postponed amid paper leaks row, new date to be announced 'at the earliest'

"Taking into consideration, the recent incidents of allegations regarding the integrity of certain competitive examinations, Ministry of Health has decided to undertake a thorough assessment of the robustness of processes of NEET-PG Entrance Examination, conducted by National Board of Examination for medical students," the ministry said in a statement.

The Centre on Saturday announced the postponement of the NEET-PG exam, which was originally set for June 23, following recent concerns about the integrity of some competitive exams.

The Union Health Ministry stated that the new date for the examination will be announced at the earliest.

The ministry further said this move is aimed at safeguarding the interest of the students and also to ensure the sanctity of the examination process.
