Meanwhile, the test format for the forthcoming session of 2021-22 has been altered by CBSE. Instead of one annual board test, the academic year has been divided into two terms, with the Board administering exams at the end of each.

The Board also announced in a statement released on Monday that the syllabus for the year will be rationalized, similar to what was done the previous academic year, when the syllabus was lowered by 30%. The new syllabus will be divided in half over the two terms.
