TCS Reports Increased Q3 Profit, Announces Rs 27 Interim and Special Dividend

According to a regulatory filing, TCS closed the third quarter of FY24 with a revenue of Rs 60,583 crore, compared to Rs 58,229 crore in Q3FY23. The net profit for the quarter was Rs 11,097 crore, up from Rs 10,883 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) reported a higher net profit of Rs 11,097 crore for the third quarter of FY24, ending on December 31, 2023. The company's Board of Directors declared a third interim dividend of Rs 9 and a special dividend of Rs 18 per equity share of Re 1 each.

K. Krithivasan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, stated, "Our strong performance in a seasonally weak quarter buffeted by macroeconomic headwinds demonstrates the strength of our business model with a well-diversified portfolio and a customer-centric strategy."

N. Ganapathy Subramaniam, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director, highlighted the company's progress in projects of national importance and the success of its products and platforms. The company's workforce stood at 603,305 as of December 31, 2023.
