On Wednesday, Tata Power announced a notable 8.8 percent surge in its net profit, reaching Rs 1,017 crore during the July-September quarter of the current financial year. This stands in contrast to a net profit of Rs 935 crore recorded in the same period last year.
The company also disclosed that it has successfully resolved the tariff issue affecting its hydro power plant in Zambia and has received a portion of the outstanding dues, amounting to $102 million, from the Zambia Electricity Supply Corporation.
Furthermore, Tata Power's clean energy portfolio expanded to 5,500 MW in the second quarter, now constituting 38 percent of its total installed generation capacity, reflecting its commitment to cleaner and sustainable energy sources.
