Honasa, the Parent Company of Mamaearth, Achieves Rs 30 Crore PAT in January-March Quarter

On a full-year basis, for FY24, Honasa recorded a PAT of Rs 111 crore, and an EBITDA increase of 7.1 percent.

The company founded by Ghazal Alagh and Varun Alagh, who also founded Mamaearth, on Thursday announced that its quarterly profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 30 crore for January-March of this calendar year.

On a full-year basis, for FY24, Honasa recorded a PAT of Rs 111 crore and an EBITDA increase of 7.1 percent.

Revenue from operations went up by 21.5 percent for the quarter and by 28.6 percent for the full fiscal year.

"The sustained affinity of Mamaearth for the customers continues to be the bedrock of our continued success. The Derma Co has also made very good strides and achieved an annual run rate of over Rs 500 crore, which reflects our ability to nurture and scale modern beauty brands," said Varun Alagh.

Consolidated revenue for Q4 FY24 stood at Rs 471 crore, which pointed to the company's strong financial performance.

New launches contributed about 18 percent to the revenue from operations in FY24, pointing to the company's commitment to innovation and growth.

According to Honasa's internal assessments, its products hold more than a 30 percent market share in all online channels in the category of sunscreens.

Mamaearth has entered into the personal wash category, which is reportedly a significant Rs 25,000 crore market, keeping in mind the evolving preference of consumers.
