Gillette India Reports 60% Profit Surge to Rs 158.7 Crore in March Quarter

The firm reported a net profit of ₹159 crore, a 61% increase from ₹99 crore of the previous year. Revenue also increased by 12.7%, at ₹767.5 crore compared to ₹681 crore of the same quarter.

Gillette India has announced its fourth-quarter financial performance, which has shown a remarkable improvement against the same period in the previous year. 

The firm reported a net profit of ₹159 crore, a 61% increase from ₹99 crore of the previous year. Revenue also increased by 12.7%, at ₹767.5 crore compared to ₹681 crore of the same quarter.

Gillette India's EBITDA saw a huge surge of almost 40%, rising to ₹225.8 crore from ₹161.6 crore year-on-year. Also, the EBITDA margin rose to 29.42%, compared to 23.73% during the same quarter last year. These statistics depict a very positive trend in the financial and operating health of the company for the quarter.

V Kumar, Director of Gillette India Limited said, "Gillette India has maintained a good performance, both at the top-line and bottom-line in the fiscal. The growth has been volume-led by our Grooming category.".
