Dating App Bumble Appoints Lidiane Jones, Former Slack Executive, as CEO

Bumble, the pioneering women-centric dating app, is welcoming Lidiane Jones as its incoming CEO, effective January 2, 2024. This appointment marks a significant transition for the company, with Jones taking the reins from the esteemed founder, Whitney Wolfe Herd, who will assume the role of Executive Chair.

Lidiane Jones, currently serving as the CEO at Slack, a subsidiary of Salesforce, is set to lead Bumble into its future endeavors. Her extensive experience in product development and technology is unparalleled, having played pivotal roles in teams dedicated to productivity, enterprise scalability, and machine learning. Before her tenure as Slack's CEO, Jones excelled as the EVP and GM for Salesforce Digital Experiences, overseeing domains like Marketing and Commerce Cloud. Her career also boasts leadership roles at Sonos and nearly 13 years with Microsoft, where she made significant contributions to various product lines.
