Total business of private lender Bandhan Bank rose 24.6 percent in the second quarter of this fiscal, said a regulatory filing by the bank with the exchanges. Total business stood at Rs 2,73,163 crore at the end of September 30, 2024, as against Rs 2,19,712 crore in the corresponding previous period, up by 24.6 percent. It said loans and advances stood at Rs 1,30,652 crore and deposits touched Rs 1,42,511 crore at the end of the second quarter. Collection efficiency ratio of the bank across all business verticals at the end of the second quarter of the current financial year stood at 98.2 per cent, compared to 98.7 per cent in the preceding quarter.
The collection efficiency ratio of micro-credit business of the lender stood at 98.1 per cent at the end of the second quarter of the current fiscal as against 98.8 per cent in the preceding quarter ending June 30, 2024. Meanwhile, the bank also extended the tenure of the term of interim MD and CEO Ratan Kumar Kesh for a period of one month effective October 10.
