Bajaj Finance Reports Q3 Net Profit Soars to Rs 3,177.39 Crore

The increase in profit can be attributed to an overall growth in the company’s revenue, which includes income from fees and commissions amounting to Rs 1,228.10 crore, showing an improvement from Rs 1,669.17 crore earned during the corresponding period of the previous year.

Non-banking finance company (NBFC) Bajaj Finance Ltd concluded the third quarter with an after-tax profit of Rs 3,177.39 crore. In a regulatory filing on Monday, Bajaj Finance reported its financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2023. The company achieved a total interest income of Rs 10,590.71 crore, compared to Rs 7,802.19 crore in Q3FY23, contributing to a net profit of Rs 3,177.39 crore, up from Rs 2,624.22 crore.

The increase in profit can be attributed to an overall growth in the company’s revenue, which includes income from fees and commissions amounting to Rs 1,228.10 crore, showing an improvement from Rs 1,669.17 crore earned during the corresponding period of the previous year.

During the reviewed period, the interest expended by the company was Rs 3,618.32 crore, marking an increase from Rs 2,455.18 crore spent in the same period of the previous year.
