Amway Direct Selling Major: Finally, the direct-selling major Amway has named Michael Nelson President & Chief Executive Officer effective immediately.
"Nelson succeeds Milind Pant, who had served as CEO since January 2019," said the company in a statement.
"He brings over three decades of Amway experience to the office, having held key leadership roles in strategy, supply chain, human resources, and technology, among many other disciplines across the organization," it added.
.We are confident that he brings just the right experience to take Amway forward to continue leading, growing and thriving in the industry now and well into the future, said Steve Van Andel, Co-Chair of the Board.
The Amway Board of Directors wishes Milind Pant all the best for his future endeavors as Milind moves on as former CEO, the statement said.
The Board thanks Milind for his service and leadership over the last six years, said Van Andel.
He guided us through international issues and honed our business strategy. Today, we are well positioned to continue leading and growing in the health and wellbeing industry, he added.
Pant is the first Indian and non-family appointment as Amway's CEO. He took over on January 2, 2019.
