Meanwhile, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has moved up to the third spot, with a net worth of $121 billion, only slightly ahead of Adani. Despite the setback, Adani, who oversees a diverse range of industries including infrastructure, airports, FMCG and cement, remains a formidable contender to reclaim the third spot.
The two wealthiest individuals in the world are Bernard Arnault of Louis Vitton and Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and Twitter. Bernard Arnault with $188 billion remains the richest person on the earth. Elon Musk, with $145 billion, is at the second spot.

The recent data from Bloomberg also indicates that Adani's net worth has decreased by $872 million in the last 24 hours and $683 million year-to-date.
