The annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas has once again pushed the boundaries of electric vehicle (EV) innovation, showcasing groundbreaking concepts from leading automakers such as Honda, Kia, and Hyundai.

Honda introduced two '0 Series' EV concept models at CES 2024 - the Saloon and Space-Hub, with plans to launch in 2026. The Saloon is a low-slung sports car with gull-wing doors, featuring sustainable materials and a human-machine interface for intuitive operations. The Space-Hub is a futuristic minivan designed to augment people's daily lives, acting as a hub connecting individuals and the outside world.

Kia unveiled its Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) strategy at CES 2024, outlining three phases. In phase one, Kia plans to introduce the Concept PV5, a versatile EV optimized for hailing, delivery, and utilities. The Concept PV7, the largest in the PBV lineup, caters to customers requiring more space and range, while the Concept PV1 serves short-distance logistics transportation needs. Phase two involves evolving PBVs into AI-based mobility platforms, and phase three envisions highly customizable mobility solutions integrated with the future mobility ecosystem.

VinFast Auto, a leading Vietnamese EV manufacturer, presented the VF Wild, a concept electric pickup truck, combining solid performance, eco-friendliness, and innovative design. The VF Wild features a power-folding mid-gate and a class-leading bed length that can expand from 5 to 8 feet, providing versatility for both work and play.

Hyundai showcased the MOBION concept at CES, redefining innovation with the next-generation 'e-Corner System' motion technology. The MOBION's wheels can rotate more than 90 degrees, allowing lateral movement and intricate maneuvers not possible with conventional four-wheel steering. The EV incorporates In-Wheel technology, featuring a self-contained powertrain in each wheel for seamless lateral movements. Additionally, MOBION includes autonomous driving sensor and lamp technologies with three lidar devices enhancing its design.
