KTM India launched the 390 Adventure X in February 2025, and now, a few months later, the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer has introduced an updated version with more features.
The new model is now available at ₹3.03 lakh (ex-showroom), which is a ₹12,000 increase from its original launch price of ₹2.91 lakh (ex-showroom).
The look of the motorcycle is unchanged visually, but the feature list has been greatly improved. Of particular note is that it now boasts cornering ABS, cornering traction control, and a cruise control system — rider aids more commonly seen on bigger, higher-end bikes of the adventure style. Three riding modes have also been added to the equation by KTM: Street, Rain, and Off-Road.
These new ride modes provide varying throttle response, with the bike adapted to particular road or weather situations. This makes the bike more versatile on a variety of terrain, providing improved control and overall ability. The rider can change between modes through the same switchgear found in the standard version, which now also accommodates the cruise control feature and a toggle for changing cruising speed.
Mechanically, the new 390 Adventure X Plus is unchanged. It continues to share the same braking parts and rides on 19-inch alloy wheels at the front and 17-inch at the back. The motorcycle still balances on-road comfort with off-road prowess similar to its predecessor.
Propelling the new model is the same 399 cc LC4c single-cylinder unit, which has been retuned to develop 45 hp at 8,500 rpm and 39 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm for the same punchy performance the 390 Adventure X is famous for.
