Kinetic DX E-Scooter Unveiled at ₹1.11 Lakh — Specs, Features & Price Insights

Kinetic Green has launched its new electric scooter, the Kinetic DX, in India. The entry-level trim has an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹1.11 lakh, while the more premium DX+ is priced at ₹1.17 lakh.

Although featuring a new look and contemporary features, the scooter maintains a couple of retro design cues reminiscent of the traditional Kinetic scooters.

Bookings for the Kinetic EV electric two-wheeler are now open on the company's official website, with a token booking price of ₹1,000. But the company has limited the initial phase of bookings to 35,000 units alone and will start delivering the vehicles in September 2025.

Powering the Kinetic DX is a 2.6 kWh battery pack from Range-X, which the company insists lasts four times longer than conventional NMC-based electric scooter batteries—providing a whopping 2,500 to more than 3,500 charge cycles. The top-of-the-line DX+ model carries an IDC-certified range of up to 116 km on a single charge. For performance, the scooter can go up to 90 km/h, aided by three riding modes: Range, Power, and Turbo.

Taking subtle cues from the legendary Kinetic ZX, the updated DX electric scooter receives a modern design makeover with narrow LED headlights, a Kinetic logo-shaped LED DRL, and a tough metal body. Functionality is added with a roomy floorboard and class-leading 37-litre under-seat storage, enough to carry a full-face helmet, a half helmet, and some personal items.

For suspension purposes, the scooter is provided with telescopic front forks and adjustable rear shock absorbers. Braking duties are attended to by a 220mm front disc and 130mm rear drum, assisted by a combi-braking system (CBS).

The technology-laden Kinetic DX series boasts an 8.8-inch digital instrument panel and a specific mobile app for both models. The DX+, however, takes its connectivity to the next level with sophisticated Telekinetic features such as:

Both models also feature a Kinetic Assist switch for instant CRM assistance over Bluetooth. Other smart aspects incorporate cruise control, music playback, and voice-guided navigation, all provided through an integrated in-built speaker system.
