Audi starts production of its 5th gen A4 in Aurangabad, India-launch in 2021

The Chief of Audi India Balbir Singh Dhillon took to Instagram to announce the commemoration of the new A4 in India. The 5th gen Audi is expected to hit the roads in India in the first of 2021. However, it will be almost 2 years late to debut in India as it was already launched overseas in 2019.

Audi India on Monday announced that the production of Audi A4 has begun at the Skoda Auto Volkswagen’s plant in Aurangabad.

The new sedan is expected to fall under the price range of Rs42-28 Lakh. It serves the purpose of a comfortable yet stylish car with a roaring engine. It competes against the likes of Mercedes C Class, BMW 3 Series and Jaguar XE.

A4 has a muscular exterior build with sculpted bumper, strong shoulder line, and chunky allow wheels. However, the interior still wraps a rather elegant yet modern style. It comes equipped with all the latest technology with LED headlamps to the upgraded infotainment system. Audi Virtual Cockpit: The A4 gets a 12.3-inch LCD display, instead of the standard instrument cluster, for the flexible display of information tailored to the driver's needs

The sedan is expected to come with a BS6 35 TFSI engine that offers 152 horsepower. The entry-level A4 will be able to clock 100 km/hr in 8.9 seconds.
