Honda Cars India on Wednesday launched the facelift version of its highly rated car Amaze, at a price of Rs 6.32 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The second-generation Amaze, which was launched in 2018, has been updated to meet the new level of competition around the sedan car market in India. The facelift consists of several styling and interior changes.
However, Honda will continue offering the new facelifted version in three key variants, E, S and VX. Except for the base version all three models will get the CVT automatic option as well.

While the petrol version continues to come with two CVT automatic variants - S, and VX trims, the diesel CVT option is now limited only to VX trim.
Honda Amaze 2021 has retained most of the basic styling features from its predecessor; however, it has gotten bolder and sleeker. These include – a revised new grille up front, a new LED projector and daytime running lamps and fog lamps.
The top-end models of 2021 Amaze get even more premium with the chromatic finish on the outside. Moreover, it consists of diamond cut two-tone allow wheels and LED headlights and tail lamps.

For the interior, Honda has upgraded certain areas like the satin silver accents across the dashboard. Meanwhile, it has kept the already premium features that were already there on its previous versions.
It also comes with an upgraded 7-inch touch screen infotainment system with Android and Apple Carplay support, voice command activation, rear parking camera with multi-view and guidelines, push-button start, automatic AC, and more. Other safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, seatbelt reminder, high-speed alert, rear parking sensors, continue to come as standard.
For the engine choices, Honda offers two variants, petrol and a diesel version. The petrol version puts out 89 bhp and 110 Nm via 1.2-litre –VTEC unit. Whereas, the diesel motor puts out 99 bhp and 200 Nm torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox along with an optional CVT automatic in both cases. Do note, the diesel CVT version continues to make only 79 bhp and 160 Nm.
