Tatas among multiple bidders for Air India

"Tatas have submitted a financial bid for Air India," a Tata Sons spokesperson said. Taking to Twitter, DIPAM Secretary, Tuhin Kanta Pandey said that the disinvestment process now moves to the concluding stage. "Financial bids for Air India disinvestment received by Transaction Adviser. Process now moves to concluding stage," he posted.
Tata Lockheed Martin delivers 150th C-130J Super Hercules empennage

TLMAL, a joint venture between Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, was established in 2010 in alignment with the Indian Air Force's acquisition of its first six C-130J 30 Super Hercules airlifters. The event to mark 150th delivery was held at TLMAL facility at Adibatla in Hyderabad and was attended by Telangana's minister for industries and information technology K. T. Rama Rao and senior officials from the state government and TLMAL.
Tata Steel commissions India's first plant for CO2 capture from blast furnace gas

Carbon capture and utilisation (CCU) facility uses amine-based technology and makes the captured carbon available for onsite reuse. The depleted CO2 gas is sent back to the gas network with increased calorific value. This project has been executed with technological support from Carbon Clean, a global leader in low-cost CO2 capture technology.
Tata Power Renewables commissions 150 MW Solar PV Project at Loharki, Rajasthan

Spreading across 756 Acre of land, this project has been completed by TPREL within the stipulated timelines. The plant is expected to generate more than 350 million units annually. Approximately 6,56,700 modules were used in the project and the installation is expected to reduce 3.34 lakh tons of carbon emission every year. For the smooth processing of the installation, 48 Inverters, 720 KM of DC cable and 550 manpower have been used in the project.
After 5G telecom gear, Tata Group readies to enter semiconductor manufacturing

Tata group will try to get a foothold in the $1 trillion high-tech electronics manufacturing industry, the company's chairman said while speaking at an industry event on Monday. The group has recently entered the 5G telecom equipment manufacturing by acquiring a majority stake in Tejas Networks and became a competitor to global gear market leaders like Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei and Samsung.
TASL to manufacture Boeing 737 fan cowls in Hyderabad

TASL will supply 50 per cent of the monthly 737 fan cowl requirements from financial year 2025. Fan cowl doors provide an aerodynamic surface over the fan case of the engine between the inlet and the thrust reverser and protects engine mounted components and accessories.
Tata Steel deploys EVs for transportation of steel

This will be the first-ever deployment of EVs by any steel producer in the country for the transportation of finished steel. Tata Steel has contracted 27 EVs, each with a carrying capacity 35 tonnes of steel (minimum capacity). The company plans to deploy 15 EVs at its Jamshedpur plant and 12 at its Sahibabad plant.
Tata Sons arm to acquire majority stake in Tejas Networks

Panatone Finvest will buy a 43.3 per cent stake in Tejas Networks for Rs 1,850 crore and along with other Tata Group companies, Panatone would make a public announcement to acquire up to another 26 per cent stake in Tejas. Tejas Networks has executed definitive agreements with Panatone. Tejas said that it sees a very large opportunity in the telecom sector both in India and global markets.
Tata, Boeing Hyd plant delivers 100th Apache chopper fuselage

Tata Motors shares hit 10% lower circuit

At 3 p.m., its shares on the BSE were at Rs 321.40, lower by Rs 24.65 or 7.12 per cent from its previous close. It has touched an intra-day low of Rs 311.45 per share. After a positive trend for a large part of the day, the decline started around 2 p.m. Retail sales for the first quarter ending June 30 were 1,24,537 vehicles, 68.1 per cent higher than the 74,067 vehicles sold in Q1 last year.
