South Africa to host BRICS summit in late August

Gungubele made the remarks on Thursday while briefing the media about the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Xinhua news agency reported. The cabinet met in a special session Sunday night and decided to declare a National State of Disaster, Ramaphosa said in his televised address, Xinhua news agency reported. "The primary responsibility to coordinate and manage the disaster is assigned to the national sphere of government, working closely together with provincial governments and municipalities," he added.
