G7 nations have no 'plan' to deliver on climate finance pledges

It has analysed the most recent official finance plans that developed countries submitted under the Paris Agreement and found that despite vocal pledges of support for vulnerable countries from the G7 and other wealthy nations, the actual information submitted by all 24 assessed donors falls well short of what was requested and is nowhere near a roadmap that ensures rich countries deliver on their climate finance commitments.
Human rights, threats to democracy in focus on day 2 of G7 meet

Foreign ministers from G7 countries will on Tuesday discuss human rights and threats to democracy on the second day of a special meeting in London, reports dpa news agency. On Tuesday, representatives from the US, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the European Union are due to meet British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab.
G7 Ministers to meet for 1st time in 2 yrs

Ministers from the G7 countries will meet in person for the first time in two years on Monday in London, where they will discuss the withdrawal of foreign troops from Afghanistan, a post-Brexit trade deal, Iran's nuclear programme and China. Ministers from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the US are due to meet British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab, reports dpa news agency.
