The actor shared a picture on Instagram on Monday evening after the wedding rituals took place. Sharing the first photos from their wedding, which currently has 2.2 million likes on the photo-sharing website, Rajkummar wrote: "Finally after 11 years of love, romance, friendship and fun, I got married to my everything today, my soulmate, my best friend, my family.

The couple were dressed in all whites during their engagement celebrations, videos of which are currently doing the rounds on social media. The "Newton" star was seen going down on one knee to propose to Patralekhaa, who too did the same and asked him to marry her. In the clip, Rajkummar, who looks dapper in a white kurta-churidaar paired with a matching jacket and sneakers, is heard saying: "Patralekhaa, will you marry me?"

Anubhav said: "'Bheed' is one of those titles that the whole team jumps at the moment you propose it." Talking about roping in Rajkummar for the lead role, the director said that for him, "casting was crucial". He added: "Raj is a very intriguing actor. He is one of the very few actors who can be so successfully transparent in a story. There always was a keen desire to work with him and I am looking forward to it." On working with Sinha, Rajkummar says it is a matter of "great honour and privilege to collaborate with a filmmaker who has such a distinct voice".

In his 11-year Bollywood journey so far, Rajkummar has featured in many slice-of-life features. "I just want to do good films. That's the only way I want my filmography to be (made up of) films I can be proud of when I turn back after 50 years and say these are films, I have done and they are all special," he says.

"I am a huge fan of Irrfan sir. The kind of filmography he had, the work he has done and the performances he has given -- I would love to achieve something like that. American-Iranian filmmaker Ramin Bahrani directs the India-centric film that stars Adarsh Gourav in a central role. The film is based on Aravind Adiga's Man Booker Prize-winning novel of the same name. In the film, Priyanka and Rajkummar are seen as an affluent couple, who have been living with their family in India after returning from the US for their business. Adarsh is seen as their driver, Balram Halwai.
