It all began on Monday with Netflix India asking people to pick between books and movies. Bhagat replied to the thread, saying: ""My books, and the movies based on them." It caught Madhavan's eye, who replied: ""Hey Chetan…My bias is movies > books." Soon a hilarious war-of-words commenced between the two on the micro-blogging website.

As a salute to the people who saved scores of lives, YRF announced this project on the same day that this tragedy had struck Bhopal 37 years back. YRF's streaming content production business will be called YRF Entertainment and it will churn out five marquee projects to begin with in its first year. Akshaye Widhani, Senior Vice President of Yash Raj Films said: "The Bhopal Gas Tragedy is the world's worst industrial disaster that has impacted scores of people since the tragedy struck the city 37 years ago.

Madhavan said: "I play the character of 'Arya', a pulp-fiction writer who suffers with a rather uncompromised sense of objectivity and clarity, along with a determination to not compromise (ever!) - which is hilarious especially when pitted against his calm and composed wife Shruti, played by Surveen. Surveen was a delight to work with through and through and I hope the chemistry and humour we share on-screen leaves audiences laughing uncontrollably."

Launching the trailer, Madhavan wrote in the caption Rocketry HINDI trailer actormaddy vijaymoolan rocketrythefilm. Madhavan will also feature in the lead role. In the trailer, Madhavan is seen in the getup of an aged Narayanan, who says that he wants to tell his story so that nobody else has to go through it. Shah Rukh Khan then makes an appearance in the trailer.
