Bhai Virendra, the MLA from Maner assembly constituency in Patna, asked a question about the pending salaries of teaching faculty and other staff of colleges in the state. "They have not been getting salaries for the last three months despite the Patna High Court also directing the state government to pay the salaries as soon as possible. Then why is the Education Department not releasing the salaries?" he asked.

Issuing statements in the media would not help them, he claimed. "Instead of blaming the BJP, the Lalu family should disclose how they have obtained such a big amount of money. They are misleading people. If they have any proof against BJP of misusing the central agencies or have any proof against any BJP leaders, they are free to go to the court," Sinha said.

The hearing for the divorce case between Tej Pratap Yadav and Aishwarya Rai was held in the court of Justice Ashutosh Kumar and Justice Jitendra Kumar on Tuesday. During 45 minutes of councelling, both the judges asked Tej Pratap and Aishwarya to give their final submissions whether they would stay together or take divorce. As they did not give any satisfactory answer, the court decided to give another chance to them for the counselling. The next date of hearing is July 19.
