Parineeti Chopra

A source told IANS that the venue for the much-talked about engagement between Parineeti and Raghav will take place near the iconic India Gate located in Central Delhi. The source added that Parineeti's sister Priyanka Chopra Jonas will be landing in the National Capital tomorrow. However, there is no update about Priyanka's husband.

A video shared by paparazzi Viral Bhayani shows Parineeti apartment in Bandra's high rise building lit up ahead of her engagement, which is set to take place on Saturday, May 13. Earlier this week, a source had confirmed to IANS that the engagement is happening and preparations are on.

A source told IANS: "It (the engagement) is happening. She is getting engaged on Saturday, 13th. The engagement preps are on. Parineeti has already left for Delhi." The couple were recently spotted leaving a restaurant after their dinner date. A video was shared by celebrity paparazzi Viral Bhayani on Instagram, where Parineeti can be seen in an all-black outfit, while the AAP leader looks casual in a grey shirt paired with black pants.

Recently, Parineeti was seen wearing a silver band on her ring finger. As per media reports, Parineeti and Raghav got engaged in a traditional roka ceremony in the presence of close family members. The two will reportedly get married by the end of October this year.

Be that as it may, from amongst the bevy of beauties at the event, we got a rare sighting of actress Parineeti Chopra who walked the runway for designer Ritika Mirchandani. Chopra was a picture of elegance when she stopped the show, in a shimmering, white, long, fitted, skirt with a high slit, matching bralette teamed with a structured-shoulders long-sleeved, heavily, embellished, floor-length jacket.

Parineeti says, "Uunchai is going to be one of the most special films of my life as I got the opportunity to work with such legendary actors of our industry. Everyday I would be super excited to go on the sets and learn something new from these talented actors."

Parineeti Chopra says, "It is just amazing that I am getting to work with Mr Bachchan this year, which happens to be his milestone 80th birth year. Even after he has accomplished possibly everything, it was amazing to see him approach every day on the sets like it was the first day of his career."

Parineeti Chopra said: "There was a scene which was shot on a boat. During the shoot, it was around -10 to -11 degrees and the whole unit was completely covered up with jackets, mufflers, and masks whereas I was given a black half-sleeve T-shirt. Nobody will know how many blankets were kept on my leg as we were on the boat and a strong wind was blowing and it was supposed to be my entry shot."

Parineeti says, "One of the key action techniques of an agent is hand to hand combat, so I learnt Krav Maga, a form of martial arts, for a total of 3 months to get my action sequences right."
