PM Modi emphasized that Ram is not a dispute but a solution, resonating deeply with the devotees of Ram worldwide.

Expressing his surprise, Gandhi stated, “This is strange because Rahul Gandhi cannot go there while everyone else can visit the birthplace of Srimanta Sankardeva. Will PM Modi now decide who will visit a temple and when?”

The decision not to participate in the ceremony has been made with the utmost consideration for the health of the 96-year-old leader and in light of the extreme cold temperatures.

They visited the PM Modi at his residence on Wednesday and he has accepted the invitation. Modi posted on X that today's day is quite emotional day for him as he received the invitation to attend the idol installation ceremony at Ayodhya. "I am feeling blessed that in my lifetime I will be witness to this historic moment," he said.

According to sources, the Prime Minister was apprised of the development projects that are currently underway, and those which are expected to be completed by January 2024. It has been learnt that the Prime Minister, during the presentation on the development projects of Ayodhya, also provided some key suggestions.

"Didn't the Chief Election Commissioner say that there is a vacuum in J&K which needs to be filled. Why is that vacuum not being filled? If the Election Commission is under pressure then they must say it clearly that they are under pressure and that is why they cannot hold elections here," Omar added.

Omar Abdullah, former chief minister and vice president of the National Conference (NC) has said that he won't fight elections unless statehood is restored to J&K.

The 2024 elections are perfectly timed with the completion of the grand Ram temple and the various developmental projects earmarked for the holy city will also be near completion by then. Ayodhya, therefore, will be the perfect showcase of BJP's achievement -- both in spiritual and developmental terms. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who has already positioned himself as a torch-bearer of Hindutva, will undoubtedly tout Ayodhya as a major achievement.

According to Shah, since the beginning of the ongoing Monsoon Session of the Parliament, the Congress has been protesting against price hike, rise in GST on essential items, and unemployment in normal clothes. However, its choice to wear black on August 5, which is considered as Ayodhya Diwas, was to disrespect Ram 'bhakts' and oppose the construction of the Ram temple. Shah said on August 5, 2020, PM Narendra Modi had performed Bhoomi Pujan at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, which is considered a sacred place by crores of Indians where the construction of the grand Ram temple is going on in full steam.
