The ED, however, mentioned that the arrest of Rai in money laundering case came as he was approached by Vivo, China for helping them in establishing their business in India and he provided initial funding of Rs 3.17 crore for setting up offices and residential accommodation of Chinese national of Vivo Mobile India Pvt Ltd and its state distributor companies through Labquest Engineering Private Limited. 

Priced at Rs 12,499, the smartphone will be available in two colours - Starry Night and Radiant Pearl - to purchase starting October 3 from online and offline stores.

One such company Lava, which has been striving to break into the top echelons of the Indian smartphone industry, has now launched Agni 2 5G, with a curved AMOLED display and cutting-edge technology.

The phone is priced at Rs 21,999 and will be available to buy on online stores from May 24, with a flat discount of Rs 2,000 on all major credit and debit cards making the effective starting price only Rs 19,999, according to the company.

Priced at Rs 8,999, the smartphone comes in two colours -- Glass Orange and Glass Blue -- and will be available to purchase from online stores from April 18, according to the company. The smartphone features 6GB of RAM, which is expandable by an additional 5GB of virtual RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
