iPhone Crash Detection triggers accidental 911 calls, causes chaos at US festival

Bonnaroo is a four-day music and art festival. According to Manchester police, the calls were caused by a malfunction with iPhone's feature, which automatically alerts the police if the phone detects a crash, reports New York Post. "Bonnaroo Guests: MPD (Manchester police department) has responded to multiple accidental 911 calls at Bonnaroo. It's likely that these calls are a result of 'Crash Detection Mode', a new feature on Apple iPhones.

According to Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu, these models featuring a 48-megapixel camera will use a three-stacked sensor that can capture more light for enhanced image quality, reports MacRumors. As of now, the devices are currently set to launch in September.

Apple leaker Unknownz21 (@URedditor) shared a document which featured diagrams of the iPhone 15's antenna architecture, reports MacRumors. In the document, the iPhone 15 Pro model was labelled as 'D8x' and indicated that the faster Wi-Fi 6E will be restricted to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models.
