Daniel Radcliffe to play 'Weird Al' Yankovic in biopic movie

The film is Roku's first original biopic and will be available to stream exclusively on The Roku Channel. The project is produced by Funny Or Die and Tango. Yankovic co-wrote the film's script with Eric Appel, who is also set to direct the project, reports variety.com.

Legend has sold the rights of his music to two companies -- global investment firm KKR and music company BMG, each of them acquiring a 50 per cent stake in the artiste's catalogue for an undisclosed fee. Lyle Gregory, Jackson's close friend and producer for 30 years, confirmed his death to 'Variety'. In late December, the Critics Choice Association announced it would delay its 2022 awards ceremony because of concerns over the surge in Covid-19 cases and the Omicron variant.
