Less than half of that, or about 22 per cent said they are not happy with the BJP government and want to change it. Similarly, 36.6 per cent of the voters rate the performance of the state government as good while 34.6 per cent rate it as poor. Then again, results of the exclusive CVoter survey for ABP News show that while 37.6 per cent of respondents rate the performance of Chief Minister Jairam Thakur as good, as many as 33.7 per cent rated his performance as poor.
Assembly polls: EC to announce poll schedule for Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh today

With the announcement of the poll schedule, the Model Code of Conduct for guidance of political parties and candidates will come into force. Teams of the Commission recently visited the two states to take stock of poll preparedness. The previous assembly elections were held in December 2017. After the election, BJP emerged victorious and had formed the state government, with Vijay Rupani taking over as the chief minister.

J.P. Nadda said Modi in 2014 decided that 512 offices would be constructed throughout the country. Out of these, 235 offices had been completed and work was going on for the remaining offices. Inaugurating the party's office here, the BJP President said these offices would help the party workers frame, draw and implement strategies to strengthen the party's base.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, who reviewed the arrangements relating to the Prime Minister's visit on Thursday, issued directions to the concerned officials to make the visit memorable. The Chief Minister said that other than AIIMS, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Hydro Engineering College at Bandla in Bilaspur.
Congress seeks legislation to ensure money allocated for SCs not get used for other purposes

Rajesh Lilothia, Chairman of All India Congress Committee's SC department, slammed the BJP-ruled states, saying that there have been "rising incidents of oppression" against the SCs as well as atrocities committed against them.
