According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), students have applied for 54,555 unique combinations of subjects under the new education policy. Significantly, under the new education policy, students have been given more freedom to choose the subjects of their choice. Due to this, unique combinations of different subjects have been created.

"The Vice-Chancellor, JMI (Najma Akhtar), on the recommendation of the Dean of Faculties has approved to reopen the university in offline mode from July 16, 2022, for all classes except 1st semester/Year, '' the notification read. JMI has advised all deans of faculties to complete renovation, maintenance, and repair works of classrooms and  laboratories prior the commencement of classes. However, the university already resumed offline classes for final year PG and undergraduate UG students in the month of March this year.

The IGNOU announced this extension through their official Twitter handle. This year the IGNOU June TEE 2022 is scheduled to be held from July 22 till September 2, 2022. Candidates are required to pay an examination fee of Rs 200 for each theory and practical examination conducted by IGNOU. The exam fee can be paid through either credit card, debit card, or net banking.

This is for the first time that in first five months of the year, 2.72 crore students have registered themselves on Central education ministry's portal. Of them, many students are completing 40 per cent online credit of their regular courses. These involve youths, professionals and homemakers who have registered on Swayam to enhance their skills.

Apart from these 270 officers, there are also 403 others who qualified for state-level Public Service Commission exams. The academy has never charged any fees from any of its students. In 2022, a total of 23 RCA students managed to clear the UPSC exam. Harish Dayama, a senior IPS officer working in the Counter Intelligence Department of Punjab Police, says that the academy was started in the year 2010 with the financial aid from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in Delhi's Jamia.

Last date for registration to IGNOU July 2022 session is 31st July 2022, according to the official notice published on the website. ​​IGNOU is offering nearly 250 programmes in various disciplines, which include masters’ degrees, bachelors’ degrees, PG diploma and diploma, PG certificate and certificate programmes and appreciation/awareness level programmes.

The re-registration process in IGNOU is for those students who want to register themselves for the next semester or next year of a program that they are pursuing. The students who have already enrolled themselves in UG or PG programs. “With the approval of the Competent Authority, the July 2022 Re-registration Cycle has commenced from today (20/05/2022). The last date of Re-Registration for the July 2022 Session will be 30th June 2022,” an official statement said.

Candidates have time till 11:45 pm on May 21 to apply for NEST 2022. Interested and eligible candidates can apply at the official website — nestexam.in. The NEST 2022 examination is scheduled to be conducted on June 18, and the result will be announced on July 5, 2022. The admit card for the exam will be issued on June 6, 2022.

The official notice was shared by the university on its website – ignou.ac.in, as well as the official social media handle of IGNOU. "With the approval of the Competent Authority, the last date for submission of Assignments, both hard and soft copy, for the Term End Examination, June 2022 has been further extended up to May 31, 2022," stated the official notice.

“The Vice-Chancellor has kindly approved to reschedule the dates of the entrance tests of the following programs in view of the extension in the last date of form filling of CUET and the ongoing regular examinations of CBSE," read the official notice.
